Call CRO to check ressies!

I booked 5 rooms for ALL of my family for February using BDP. We got all the rooms at AKL for $119 +tax and we're arriving on a black-out date. The CM's have been GREAT!

Anyway, I called the CRO because a few names were misspelled and I wanted to make sure they were correct. Come to find out, the deposit for 1 of the 5 rooms was not applied correctly. The CM quickly fixed the error. She said I easily could have lost that 1 reservation before arrival. That would have been awful. The confirmation sheet didn't show any deposit balances - but appararently there was one.

Just check out your info before your trip.

Seems they've had a few problems with the BDP code. I just received confirmation today for only one of my four rooms and although it was correct as to dates, it had a different confirmation number than the one I was given. These ressies were also for AKL. It stated that the balance was due 21 days in advance. I called CRO they said that was incorrect. On their computer it stated that the balance was due on arrival.The CM talked to Guest Services to confirm. I still worry though.

My confirmation also said that the balance was due 21 days in advance. Just like you, When I called the CRO, I was told that it was not due until arrival. I'm just going to call back periodically to make sure everything's fine. The CRO has been happy to help each time.

I originally had a reservation for two rooms at POFQ. When BDP code came out, I changed the reservation to two rooms at AKL. I had already given a deposit of $239 and was told even though my two rooms at AKL are more than $239, the balance is due at checkin. Now, the confirmation says balance is due 21 days prior.

I'm going to call back and make sure. Or, I will just call CRO and pay the balance, which is only $62.

When a discount code, such as BDP, is applied, the computer reads it as a "package", but not with the true package terms and conditions (i.e. 45 day cancel, etc.). However, that payment in full blurb will automatically print, and the CM who books it is supposedd to take it off. But, many forget. As long as it is a Central Reservation (with the 12-digit confirmation number) your balance will still be due when you check-in.
