Call and Ask for Bounceback!

The day before we checked out, I wanted to try for bounceback (8/29).
I did not have a flyer in my room, so I inquired at front desk and they said the BB had ended. I called central reservations anyway, told them I was at Disney and looking for bounceback- they transferred me to another dept and I was able to book free dining for next august.SO CALL & ASK! The worst thing that will happen is they say no- trust me they want the repeat business!!! GOOD LUCK

Glad you were able to book it, but sad that you had to work so hard to get it! Gosh you would think they would know their own offers

The flyer shows the Free Dining Bounceback offer is being offered to WDW resort guests (offer expires October 24) for next years FD dates - I sure hope the people telling you it had expired get the news that this FD BB is going on now or there will be a lot of disappointed people who are being told they couldn't book it in error

The flyer also shows to call extension 8844 from your resort room, so maybe they are more up on the specials there.

Now you can relax knowing that you already have FD booked for next year

Call 8844 from your room or resort phone seems to be the only way to get through them. That department only handles BB offer. They know it really well.
They close at 10pm. I planned to stop by Downtown Disney on my last night there and I had an early flight out. I asked around to see if any one could give me a number to call directly from my cell phone. No one seems to know. I had to get a relative to call from his room to book for me.

I called to ask about the bounce back while I was at POR this past week. There was nothing in my room about it but my brother who was staying in CBR said there was something in his room. I was told it was the free dining offer from 8/24-10/8 of THIS year.

Please say that is true and it was not for next year!!! I will be royally pissed if I was given the wrong info.

No the offer is for those dates in 2009! That's why it's a bouceback offer. Sorry you were given the wrong info.

I was lucky enough to get it. I just got home last night from Coronado & I got the paper in my room. I told my son who was staying at riverside about it he didn't get it. So he called the front desk they told him they ran out.
They told him to use my code before 12:00 pm ck out.
But it really don't make sense why in some rooms and not in others. I was looking for it the entire time I was there. Thank God I got it.

So, it is the regular dining plan, not the CS only one? Hmmm...looks like I might be going again next September...If I go a week earlier than this year, I can use my AP's for that trip, too...excellent!

Here's the flyer - the only BB available for stays now through October 24 is this Free Dining 2009 BB. If it's like last year, after this one ends, the next BB will probably be the one that includes 2009 room discounts dates (but that one will not include Free Dining).

Last year, this BB started end of October/first of November - it was the next one that started AFTER the Free Dining BB ended:

Room discount incentives to book ahead for these dates: 12/9/07-12/15/07, 1/6/08-2/2/08, 2/24/08-3/1/08, 3/30/08-4/21/08, 8/10/08-9/27/08.

Info was:

Save 30% off the non-discounted rate for stays most nights 12/9-12/15/07, 1/6-2/2/08, 2/24-3/1/08, 3/30-4/21/08 and 8/10-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe hotels in standard room.

Save 40% off the non-discounted rate for stays most Sunday through Thursday nights 1/6-2/2/08 or most nights 2/24-3/1/08, 3/30-4/21/08 and 8/10-9/27/08 at select Disney Deluxe Villa resorts in a Studio.
Ask about rooms at other WDW resort hotels.
