Call About Waitlist

Yesterday I received a call from Member Services about my waitlist matching. The person I spoke with said that the match wasn't complete? Not sure what that meant but I had points and she matched it while I was on the phone. It was odd since I've never received a call before (they automatically matched) and when I logged on the site didn't show those dates available. Anyone else ever have this happen?

There might have been something showing that caused confusion.

While it’s never happened to me, I have heard that they will call if there is something they are not positive about.

Maybe it showed to borrow when you didn’t need to? Just guessing.

I’ve been trying to book a reservation for three days. The system has been VERY WONKY. I finally got it when I just booked myself as a guest quickly when the room reappeared for the fifth time… I’ll add the other 10 or 11 people later. I just had to lock it in before more insanity happened.

Yes, I have received calls on several occassions. Usually, they just want to make sure they undertand what I want. Sometimes I am not sure why they called as it seemed pretty clear cut. The last time I was suprised they didn't call, based on past experience, just to make sure I did in fact want to cancel the other full reservation. I think sometimes it just depends on the CM and how thorough he/she is.

I got a call once because they wanted to know whether to cancel grandma's room also when my room upgraded. It didn't even make sense, but hey, at least they called instead of cancelling grandma's room too.
