California Zephyr removed from DCA

As the top YouTube comment says, "Noooooooooooooo!!!". That was an iconic part of the original DCA. Sorry to see it go. One of our favorite family pix is of DW, DS, and myself in front of the engine during AP preview days in 2001.

Very interesting. We have loved eating at Burr Bank ice cream but I'm excited about the coming changes. It will be strange to walk through there and not see the GG bridge and the train.

I saw a picture the other day, the caption was, they ripped the head of the California Zephyr. Too bad to see it go, but the clock is being rewound too far to keep it.

Well I am glad they are donating it to the museum.
Loved sitting here, relaxing with ice cream or a treat from the bakery, but I am really excited to see the new look of DCA.
