I've never been on it and am slightly nervous about going on it LOL. I'm not a HUGE fan of rides that go upside down, but my sister is trying to tell me it isn't that bad and by the time you realize you are going upside down, it's already over. Tell me about the ride, how fast/scary is it? :)

I like Screamin because while it is fast and exhilirating, it is not jarring like most rollercoasters of its size.

I agree with what you sister said about the loop too. It's not like some coasters where the point is to be inverted most of the time, and certainly not like a county fair upside down spinner ride.

I'm just the opposite of you, I don't like the drops. I've never been on this one, so can't help you, but DH LOVES this ride! I think it is his favorite.

Thanks!! One loop I think I can handle, LOL. I don't mind drops...within reason. I LOVE Splash Mountain. Are there drops on CS bigger than that?

I also hate heights, so I don't think I will be going on Mickey's Fun Wheel unless I am dragged on! :scared1:

The drops are too bad and quick, not like most coasters that try to go down at 90 degrees. I would just not look down when you are up high, if you can sit in the front to keep you looking ahead. If you can handle the drop on splash you should be fine on CS because you are harnessed into your seat and the ride is smoother.

Really it is a great coaster. DS's and probably many other child's first big coaster. DS loved it after one ride.

Extremely smooth coaster that is a blast to ride. Dont worry....loop is over before you know it :lmao: Dont forget to pose for the pic at the end!

Thanks guys!! You settled it, I'm riding it!!:scared1:

But NOT Mickey's Scary Wheel. LOL!!

Wow, I give you allot of kudos for riding CS! :scared1: Now MFW, I love but I will never be on CS! Just standing there watching CS scares me! :sad2:

That is so funny! We are the opposite! I can picture myself on CS, I think it will be so fast I can handle it....now MFW...I can't even picture being on it without practically having a panic attack LOL!!

I do not like the drops, and the one time I rode, I found them to be worse than Splash Mountain. But I hate drops overall. People who don't hate drops probably won't mind them.

I don't mind loops and I thought the loop was fine. My friend hates loops and she was OK on the loops too.

Lolol!! :rotfl:

AH! me too.. i definitely do not do the whole upside down rollercoaster thing! freaks me out :scared1: but i agree with everyone this rollercoaster is one you dont want to miss! i first went on when i was 11 and before getting on was SO nervous. after i got off i did it like 4 more times and decided it was my new fave! HAVE FUN!

I highly recommend you NOT take the front seats. Unless you are riding at night. Just sit in the middle. That way you can just feel the ride, not see the track in front of you.

As long as I follow those rules, and do not ride more than twice in a row, and *keep my head BACK*, I quite like the ride! And the loop is the best part.

Screamin' is really fun! I didn't ride it for five years because I was afraid of the takeoff. I had never been on a coaster that launched you at the beginning. Finally this summer, with some Magicale induced bravery :), I tried it. It's now my favorite ride! It's just so much fun and I love the launch. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long to give it a try.

As for the loop, it's really nothing to be worried about. The best part is there are some cool Hidden Mickeys that are visible when you're coming out of the loop. Look for the classic Mickey shapes on the ground at the base of the poles that are used in the coaster's structure.

Being a rollercoaster junkie, I find Screamin a bit tame, but it is lots of fun. There is music that is timed to what is happening on the ride which is great to listen to. I think this ride is a great looping rollercoaster for first timers. I have been trying to get my 8 year old DD on it, but she says no way. She loves Tower of Terror and won't go on this. I think she's crazy! Go on it, I think you'll like it.

This ride is so fun. I went on with my 9 yr old and we both loved it. BUT it made me dizzy. I wish I could have just sat on the ride for at least 15 seconds when it was over with. hehehehe My neck was all messed up though.

lisa :)

My husband was afraid of the loop. I was afraid of the jet-blast start and the first drop. We both had a BLAST! It's such a fun ride. I think you'll be fine!

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

I was told by our wine person (forget the technical name) when we did port & chocolate tasting at Wine Country Trattoria to be sure and go on Tower of Terror afterward...:thumbsup2

Next time I'll have to try CS following the port tasting :)

I enjoy CS, though I'm a little scared every time I do. I'm not afraid of the loop or the drops...I know it's silly, but I am most nervous about the turns! I always feel like the cars are going to fly off the track. I'm a lot happier riding it at night because I can't see the tracks :rotfl:

As bumbershoot said, be sure to keep your head back! I made the mistake a few times of leaning my head forward. When you go through the loop your head gets pushed back hard. In my case, what hurt was mostly my earrings gouging me. I didn't even realize I was leaning forward until then! It's also a strain on your neck to do that.
