I gotcha. Honestly, the ride is so tame and predictable that I don't even know which one is the "big" drop. And it doesn't go backwards.

I absolutely hate that dropping feeling and California Screamin' is one of my favorite rides. I haven't been on Everest yet but I've been on Rock N' Roller Coaster and Space Mountain. Screamin' is similar to Rock 'N Roller Coaster but it's longer and more fun, and maybe a little more intense than Rock 'N Roller and Space Mountain because you aren't dropping on those 2 (well, at least not a lot).

Have you been on Splash Mountain? I think that drop is worse than anything on Screamin' (and I don't find Splash Mountain to be that bad). Screamin' is fast and very smooth. The only thing that I hate with roller coasters are drops and that dropping feeling in your stomach, and I would ride Screamin' again and again.

Yeah, I was being facetious and saying of all the ups and downs on CS, I didn't realize any of them was "big". Haha I need to work on my posting humor! The ride is just so easy-going that it never even seems like you are doing a big drop. Is it the second one? Not the turbo one, right?

I do not even know. I concur that the smoothness of the ride makes this a non-issue for many if not most people.

CS is smooth and quick. It is actually over before you know it and people have a tendancy to work themselves up mentally.

Love ToT, not a coaster but psych's many people out before the ride starts.
