California School Closures

How can you find out if there are days when school is out?
We may be going Nov 30-Dec 7 and I want to see if there are days when it will be especially busy.

Anyone know?

Some school districts have web sites and have the calendar available on it.

My DS's Fall Recess is Nov 23 - 25. The week after are parent conference days, so he gets out at 12:30 PM. We are in Northern CA so it might be different down in Southern CA, especially if they have year round school.

Well with so many public/private schools/districts in the area there is not just ONE set schedule that they all follow. But the variations are usually Winter break, spring break and Summer vacation. Those tend to start and end all within a week or two of each other but Thanksgiving is Thanksgiving not much of a variance.

I would assume that most kids will be in school that week.

I read on here and on the Disneyland website that it is busy the week before Thanksgiving, but not the week after....
Sound right?
