California Grill

Hey everyone! I finally booked a vacation for my DBF and I! We just couldn't pass up the MYW with Free Dining!! We will be staying at the CBR August 28 - Sept. 2 2005 Anyway. One of those nights we will be going to the California Grill for the first time!! I have no idea what the food is like or what they have, when to make reservations so we can be there for WISHES, I am going there knowing nothing. Can someone please fill me in? Thank you!

I was just there a little over a week ago & it was great. They have the menus posted on allearsnet. I had the filet & it was FANTASTIC!!! A little pricey, but very worth it.

You need to check the schedule for wishes on the day your going. It changes depending on what time the park is closing, and thus can affect the time you want to make your PS for.

We happened to just go to the lounge & wait for a table by the window, and ate there. A PS does not guarantee you a good table to see from, but don't forget, a lot of diners just go outside and have an even better view from there!! (There are viewing platforms outside the restaurant you can walk out on. )Then you go back to your table & finish eating!!

hey will eat in food court.. they are not interested in dining with us.. and that is okay, will save me lot of $$$$....

but hope they are allowed up to see show

Don't worry, just have your teens go to the 2nd floor check-in & tell them their parents are there. They'll take them right up!!

Couldn't resist a quick plug for my fav WDW restaurant. I've always had a great time there. Food, service and ambience, all outstanding.
