On our last trip (Sept-free
DDP) we ate at 3 signatures. Cal. Grill, Brown Derby (my mom really wanted this one) and, one I don't hear much about, Narcoossee's. I feel both CG and Nar. were worth the 2 points. The only reason we did HBD was because we had enough points. If we didn't, we would have skipped it, or paid OOP. We were there 10 nights, with 3 people, so we had 30 of each credit to use. Also, we pay OOP for my DD7, at any 2 TS.
We had an excellent meal at CG and we did see the fireworks, and the sunset. We were disappointed in the fact that they didn't dim the lights and you could see the reflection from the room in the windows. If I had known the lights were staying on, I would have gone out to the observation deck. On of the reasons our meal was so good, besides the food, was our server, Billy. He is CG sommelier (wine guy) and he was very pleasant and helpful with recommendations. Our meal there last Sept. (on my DM birthday) was just okay-our server seemed bored and nothing special was done for my mom's

. We decided to try it again, and we were very glad we did.
We ate a Narcoossee's on our final night and it was the top meal of our trip

(#2 was CG). My mom doesn't want me to post much about Narcoossee's because she doesn't want to make it hard to get into. We were able to get Monday night ressies just a few days before. S & S weren't available. What we didn't know, and we very happy to find out was, they dim the lights and play the music for the fireworks. We could see from our upper level seats, but the view from outside was better. Also, our server was quick to point out that the "surf and turf" was included with our DDP, so of course we ordered it. It was very good. Also, to top it off, I had the best dessert of our trip that night-almond crusted cheesecake with raspberry (I think) sauce. It was to-die-for delicious!

I would go back there just for that alone.
If I wasn't on DDP I would be happy to just have appetizer (I had the calamari which was very good) and dessert.
