Can someone help please? I have a couple of Qs.

I've been looking at the menus for CG and there seems to be a lot of fish/Sushi :confused3

My DH can't stand any type of fish so I was wondering if he can't find anything else on the menu that he likes the look of can you order the Flatbreads as an entree?? If so, how large are they?

Secondly, would you try and book a table whilst Wishes is on? or eat earlier and then access viewing platform later? (i read that is you show your receipt you can still get to the viewing platform?)

Appreciate any help any of you can provide.

Thanks in advance.

Lynn

He can order the flatbread, but there was plenty of non-fish choices when I was there as well. My mom got the filet, and while simple she said it was the best she'd ever had. I had a vegetarian pasta dish.

I'd recommend making your reservations for an hour or an hour and a half before Wishes, and then making your way out to the viewing platform in time for the show. They can always hold your desserts until you're done watching. I would definitely watch from outside though, because last I heard they didn't pipe the music into the restaurant itself- just to the outdoor platforms.

Have fun!

Out of the 8 main courses listed below, only 3 are fish. My DH is not a big fan of seafood either, but he loves CG & his favorites are the filet of beef & pork tenderloin.

I agree with singingpixie about arriving appx. 1 hour before Wishes. We always go out onto the platform & it's a great view of the fireworks. :thumbsup2

Grilled Pork Tenderloin with goat cheese polenta, button mushrooms and zinfandel glaze $32

Pan-roasted Grouper Fillet with olive oil crushed potatoes, cipollini onions and red wine butter sauce $34

Oak-fired Filet of Beef with cheesy Yukon gold potato mash, sautéed broccolini, and and teriyaki barbecue sauce $44

Striped Bass with crispy rock shrimp, roasted potatoes, onions, Celeriac, "Chowder" cream, and Piquillo Rouille $35

Roasted Breast of Duck and Leg Confit - savory cranberry bread pudding, fall vegetables, and port reduction $36

Seared Scallops with fregola pasta, bacon, almonds, cauliflower puree, wild mushrooms and cider reduction $36

Crispy Petite Chicken with gnocchi, leek fondue, chanterelles, fava beans, mustard cream and natural jus $32

Hand-crafted Japanese Pumpkin Ravioli with wild mushrooms, spinach, parmesan, and mushroom tea $22

even if you can't get your reservation in the right time frame for Wishes, you can still watch the fireworks from the viewing platform. We had an early ADR (around 6:00) when Wishes was going to be at 10:00. Both the hostess who seated us & our server reminded us to save the receipt from dinner if we wanted to come back & view Wishes, just show the receipt at the check-in & they would let us back upstairs.

Thanks Catne

Think this is what we'll end up doing! Keep your fingers crossed there's something available for us!
