California Grill - what time reservation for Wishes?

What time is best for a reservation at California Grill to see wishes toward the end of your dinner? How fast is the serving pace? i.e., how long for a typical dinner for four?

Expect dinner to take about 2 hours from arrival at the podium until you are ready to leave--maybe a bit longer. Check the time for Wishes during your stay and make your reservation about 1 1/2-2 hours prior to Wishes. If you make the reservation for too early you will not be able to "hold the table and linger that long" and if you get there too close to Wishes you will have a hard time being seated since others will be lingering to see the fireworks.

I's say about 2 hours, that allows for a wait if necessar, but if there is not you should still be OK.

And so what exactly is the drill when wishes starts? I understand there are outdoor observation decks. Is it a mad rush outside or do some pretty much stay seated and others get up?
