California Grill w/ kids

Is the Cali Grill worth the cost w/ kids 9,11 &12? I have ressies about the time of fireworks, but the menu is $$$ and mature for the kids. What is the kids menu like? I know the age requirements and unfortunately the older two refuse to order off the kids menu. We may change to Trails End buffet, give me your opinion.

Even if your kids are somewhat limited in what they'll try, they can probably find something on the adult menu. Have you checked out the flatbreads? A flatbread and a dessert would probably be enough food for an older child.

The child's menu has basic items on it that might be appealing--macaroni and cheese (it's not the orange stuff, it is real pasta in a creamy white mild cheddar sauce). There are grilled steaks, salmon, chicken, etc. with potato and vegetable...stuff like that. You could also order the filet off the adult menu, and request that they leave the sauce off, or have them bring it on the side.
