California Grill Question

I thought I had read a thread about California Grill closing, but when I put in a reservation request for September, there are times available. Was this just a rumor?

It's just a rumor at this point. If you can still make reservations for the restaurant, then nothing is official.

Ok, so what worries me is that I will make a reservation, and then they will close and give very little notice. Then I will be stuck without any choices. Has this happened to anyone?

Honestly, I really doubt they will close during a free dining promotion.

True. I hadn't thought of that. I was going to book Yachtsman Steakhouse, but I've heard it will be closed while I'm there. So I'm thinking if I leave Epcot, I could always take the monorail over to Cali Grill. I think I may try it. If it does end up closing, chances are I could get something at Jiko, which will also be convenient since we are staying at AKV that night.

It is a rumor as there has been no official announcement to that effect from Disney at all. Doesn't mean it won't happen, just that it is not confirmed.
