Hi!

I made ADRs there for our August trip, but found out the night we are set to eat there, is a Pirate and Princess party.

I want to see Wishes from CA Grill, but from what I have read, it is not Wishes at all when there is a P&P Party.

Can anyone confirm or share opinions?

I think I already know my answer, I now need to TRY to change my ADR.

:-(

What time are your reservations? There ARE fireworks during the P & P Party, I think they are at 9:45 (according to the schedule, anyways). Otherwise...I would suggest changing your reservation.

They are supposed to be pretty cool fireworks during the party though, so if you have your reservations during that time, then it should work out...

Thank you. When I made the ADR, the P&P dates were not out yet and the schedule said fireworks at 9PM. So I based my ADR on that time.

I hope I'm able to switch my reservation to another day!

Thank you.

Is your reservation at 9? If it is around 9, you could always just order and appetizer or dessert to extend your meal time, and still be there at 9:45 for the fireworks. If it is only 45 minutes different, you still might be able to see them. Good luck!

Even if you are done with your meal before the fireworks start, you will still have the privilege of returning to CG to see them (just show your receipt to a CM at the check-in desk and you can go back up the elevator to CG). We finished our meal at 7, went to MK for a bit and then returned to the CG rooftop to view Wishes at 9 (less crowded and a different view!).

Our next meal at CG will be at 8pm. during a P & P party night and we intend to stay and watch the special fireworks.

I was under the impression that you couldn't return to a restaurant hours after the meal to see the fireworks. Please let me know, I'd love to eat an early dinner, go to the parks, enjoy some rides, then head back to the restaurant.

It would be best to time your dinner and enjoy while there, rather than going back and forth. Either way, from what I hear, the food is spectacular and any fireworks to be seen will be magical.

I believe that if you have a dinner receipt (same day, of course), they WILL let you back in for the fireworks.
