Hello, Last time we went to Disney we ate at California Grill and loved it, it was 2003. I'm trying to decide if we should eat there again or try Le Cellier instead. My DH of course says California Grill, but I thought we would try something new. Which one is better? Thanks

They are completely different in my opinion...we love CG adn we like LC as well...Le Cellier is pretty tight/close quarters and dark - like a cellar. They both have good food but the food at CG is a little better...if you would like a good steak pick LC if you want excellent food and a view pick CG!

Wow, you picked two of our favorite places to dine at WDW. I would give a slight nudge to California Grill. We ate there twice last year and really enjoyed it both times. I had one of there faboulus flatbreads and the pork tenderloin with polenta on my last visit and it was fantastic. We also ate at Le Cellier twice last year and it was also great. My wife and myself split the new tork strip with asparagus and mushrooms and there was more than enough for two people. So I suppose I did not help much beacause they are both very very good. Why not just do both. :goodvibes

If you are on the dining plan then Le Cellier uses only 1 table service credit, California Grill uses 2!! LC is the obvious choice right there. :thumbsup2

They're definitely in different leagues. Le Cellier is a moderately-priced, moderate-quality restaurant, while California Grill is a high-priced, superior-quality restaurant. We've never had anything but incredible meals at California Grill. The ingredients are clearly fresh and in some cases a step above what is available generally. The view is breathtaking. Le Cellier is good, but the steaks are lower quality, for example. I've had a couple of dry, grizzly steaks there. It was okay for the money, I suppose, but it wasn't in the same league as California Grill. Also, Le Cellier, as the name suggests, is in a cellar. It's quite a bit cramped, and of course there is no view whatsoever.
