California Grill Miracle

Wow did I just get lucky! California grill is probably our favorite WDW restaurant (or one a 2 or 3 and most). DW instructed me to get a PS for our upcoming trip for, get this, July 4th or 5th. Yeah right. It's June 23rd and CG is very popular. WDW Dining said 4th was all sold out. If they were telling me the truth, i got the very last PS available for July 5th. I'll be very popular.

BTW, they said there is a new procedure and we need to check in at the Contemporary on the 2nd floor before going up to the restaurant. Anybody have to do that yet? Where exactly do you do it? Any Idea why they changed it?

the check in desk is right near the escalators on the 2nd floor. Then they take you up a special CG elevator.

I think they're doing it this way to limit the number of people who want to go up there just to view Wishes.

Yep they changed it cause it was super crowded up there!!!!!!! It was nuts... I think this way works better.
