California Grill Fireworks Viewing

I have a 7:15 reservation for my anniversary at California Grill. Happily Ever After showing scheduled for 9:00. Will we be done with our meal by then?

Most likely. Our meal there took about 1 1/2 but we took our time and weren't really in a hurry.

If you are not done with your meal - you can take time and watch the fireworks - then return to your table to finish. Enjoy!

Just take your time. I always enjoy a drink and the cheese tray before ordering dinner. Then order dinner and make sure they know you’re not in a hurry. Of course there is dessert after. You should be having dessert when fireworks start. I’d get a glass of champagne to take out on the terrace to watch the fireworks and toast each other. Try to get someone to take a picture on your phone with the fireworks behind you!

You picked a great place to celebrate your anniversary! Take your time & enjoy all the restaurant has to offer. Make sure to tell your server you are celebrating and want to relax & enjoy.

If you want to be finished, you can do it.

If you want dessert, so to speak, after the fireworks - the Cast-members will oblige here too.

It's up to you, just inform your Waiter/Server.

We usually spend 90 minutes to 2 hours there. The staff are very well trained to not bring food out right around the time of fireworks.
They have always timed the food around fireworks.
Unless you have a window table, you will have a better view on one of the 2 balconies. The music is played in the restaurant and on both balconies.

Totally what you make it. In our experience, the staff were phenomenal and would accommodate you should you want to see the fireworks, even if you're finished. Everything seems to slow down around the fireworks, as they're well prepared and understand that most people (or a lot of them) want to see them, so they aren't rushing people and orders around that time.

How does the viewing work? Is there a patio or do we need to get the lucky seats?

They do it very well. We have done it multiple times.
Your sever will time your meal. Our server has held the entree or dessert until after fireworks are over, without us asking. If you don't have a good window seat, you can go t oone of 2 balconies. The music is played out there.
If you are inside, the lights dim and the music is played.
Personally, I prefer being on the balcony on the left side of the restaurant.
