California Grill & Fireworks Timing

During Christmas week, we'll be dining at Cali Grill with a 9:30 PM reservation. Holiday wishes are at 9:00 PM.

We've never been to CG before, and we're wondering if they will let us up on the observation deck before our scheduled reservation time. I'm hoping they don't make us wait downstairs until 9:30!

So who has done this before???

We had 9pm adr at CG for xmas 2006. You check-in on the 2nd floor then they excort yu up to the restaurant in the elevator. You will have no problem getting there early to watch, but be prepared that there will be other out on the observation deck. We arived around 8:45 and were seated right away, but they told us we could go out onto the deck to watch wishes if we wanted to..no rush. Half of us did and the other half stayed at the table to watch. They are really great about waiting for you to order, etc. Its a great view from the restaurant and the meal was the best of the whole vacation.
