Hi please help! We have ADR's for CG in October. I was talking with my hubby last night about all the different ADR's I've made and told him a little about CG and the menu. He thinks it sounds wonderful, however, he told me that he is not packing any dress pants/suits this trip for anything. I know they say CG is business casual, however, would dress shorts be appropriate attire? Last trip we had dinner at V&A although the food was wonderful my husband hated the idea of a suit and tie for dining on our Disney vacation. For those who dined at CG please tell me your experience.
Thanks,
Annie

No suit and tie needed at CG!

Business casual is preferred...

Last time we were there, there weren't any men in shorts. They say it's business casual, which I don't associate with wearing shorts. I don't think he needs to wear dress pants; a pair of khaki slacks and a polo shirt would be perfectly appropriate.

Cheers!

A pair of kahki pants and a button up shirt (short sleeve even) is fine - no need for suit, tie, or dress pants. There were several people coming in straight from the parks in shorts, tee shirts, and flip flops, although they do ask that you dress business casual. I haven't seen them enforce it (not saying they don't - just the two times I've been, I have not witnessed them enforcing their policy). We enjoy changing out of our park grub and into something a tad nicer. It's such a yummy meal!!

Last time there, DH wore Khaki pants and a polo-style shirt. I wore a sundress.

We didn't really notice anyone in shorts, but we were there later (8:30) on a night when MK wasn't doing Wishes, so it was almost all adults.

Business casual is not shorts. It also isn't a suit & tie. Khakis, polo shirt, etc. is fine.

In Disney speak, business casual does include shorts. But not cutoffs, torn clothing etc.

Collared shirt for men is required according to their decription.

If it is still hot in Oct., you will see more men in nice shorts. In cooler months, most wear slacks.
