California Grill and Holiday Wishes?

Hi. My DMom and I are heading to WDW Nov 11-23. We would like to have dinner at California Grill during the fireworks and we're hoping to get an ADR on Nov 11 which is a day that the MVMCP will be going on. So the question is, if Holiday Wishes starts at 9:30pm, what time should we try to get a reservation for if we're a party of two and we'd like to ask for wait for a window seat? One hour before the fireworks? Ninety minutes? One hour? Thanks

I'd like to know about this too. We're planning on going 12/10 and would love to see Holiday Wishes from the Cali Grill. If I understand this correctly if you dine earlier in the evening they will let you back in to catch Wishes from the observation deck. Just show your receipt. Please correct me if I'm wrong?
