California Grill and getting there?

How do you get to the Californai Grill? Can you get off on the monorail? I have only ever seen it go through the Contemporary, but never stop .....

Thaks to all who reply, can't wait, I am 34 this is my 5th visit but I still feel like its my first, and the excitement is bgining to kill me !!!

CBR in 21 days !

Assuming you're coming from the CBR, take the bus to MK, then switch to the resort monorail. The first stop will be the CR. The monorail lets you off on the fifth floor, but you have to go down one level and find the main bank of elevators that will take you to the top floor where the California Grill is. Don't worry, just follow the crowds, most people are heading for these elevators when they get off to get to their rooms. As a side note, I think the California Grill is the best dinnig at Disney. I hope you enjoyt it!

Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to get to CG. I'd leave CBR at least 45-60 minutes before your reservation time. You never know when you'll have to wait extra long for a bus or monorail. Traveling resort to resort can sometimes take up to an hour and a half. Of course, another option is to take a cab.

I agree that CG is a great. Have a wonderful dinner and a wonderful trip.

Another option is just to walk to the Contemporary after your bus arrives at the MK. It might be faster than backtracking to the monorail. Not as much fun however.

Hi Kevin! You'll love the California Grill. We ate there this past trip which was in May. Delicious and great service, not to mention the beautiful view.

Yes, you can get off the RESORT monorail at the Contemporary and go up to the top floor. Or, you could simply drive there if you're renting a car. Or, just walk over from the MK. Just depends on what your plans are and where you'll be the day you dine there. have a great dinner and happy b-day!

As others have posted, the Resort monorail stops. What you have seen was the EXPRESS monorail which runs between the TCC and MK without stopping at the resorts.
