California Grill and fireworks

I have a 9pm reservation for California Grill but the fireworks at MK are at 8pm that night. Are we allowed to go early and go onto the outdoor deck to watch before dinner? I know this used to be allowed before. Just wondering if they still allow it. Its been years since we did it last.

I know that in the past they didn't care if you dine before or after fireworks... as long as you had a reservation.
