California grill 10 min before wishes?

We're going in august and I've been trying to get reservations for california grill, i recently got them, but only at 7:50 with wishes at 8. if we check in early will they allow us to go up to the resteraunt and view the fireworks? i'm afraid we wont have a table, but as long as we can see them, it's okay.

We had 9:30pm adr on xmas night last year and Wishes was set for 9pm. We arrived at 8:50 at 2nd floor check-in and were brought to the restaurant on elevator and we had the option to go out and watch the show from the observation deck or be seated early. Half of us sat at the table because we had a great view and the other 2 went out to watch it on the outdoor area. The waitress was very accomodating and told us to take our time. If we had not had a table ealry, they let you wait at the lounge area so I don'e see any problem in viewing them.

You shouldn't have a problem. It's possible that they'll be running a few minutes behind anyway, but they should let you go up and tell you that you can get a cocktail and watch the fireworks out on the observation deck. Then by the time Wishes is over, you can sit and begin your meal. The servers are very accomodating because they know people come there to watch Wishes (and for the fabulous, amazing, delicious food)!
