California Griil dress code

I read that the CG has a business casual dress code. Are both guys and gals permitted to wear nice jeans - or do the guys have to wear casual dress pants. Would love to know as we get ready to pack !!

Also, any suggestions for the non-meat eaters going to CG??

Jeans are fine. The dress code is meant mainly to keep men in tank tops and men and women in swimwear from entering. But it is enforced sporadically.
