I know it seems pretty early to be worrying about these things, but I can't help it!

First, does anyone have any idea when the formal and semi-formal nights might be on the Mexican cruise? I'm trying to think about which dining rotation I would want...and I would like to be in Lumiere's on formal night.

I know the formal night is different for the Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises, and that the semi-formal night is night 6. But on the Mexican cruise, day 6 is a port day, so do you think they would have the semi-formal night then?

I want to book the REAS package and I'm trying to figure it all out...days and times for PALO, dining rotation, massage, etc. I know that no official info is out about the Mexican cruises, but I figured the experts on this boards might be able to venture an educated guess or two! :D Thanks!

DCL is probably going to be awhile till they figure that out...they still haven's figured out what is going on for the 10 day cruise this Dec.

On the current Magic schedule, Formal Night is the FIRST sea day and Semi-formal night (Captain's Gala) is the LAST sea day. No guarantees but seems like they might continue this pattern.

Do you think that they would do the semi-formal night on the last sea day even if that was Day 7 when you have to pack up your luggage and set it out?

I can't seem to pick the right cruises from an information/knowledge standpoint!

First we were on the inaugural Western where we didn't know what would be...

Now, we'll be on the Westbound repo. Once again, we'll be the pioneers getting all the info for the rest of the DIS'ers!

Puts a huge cramp in my planning! :teeth:

I always thought it depended upon which night your dining rotation was at Lumiere's. I remember that I was on the "adult" rotation, and we didn't have a formal night then.

But I ate dinner at Palo on my first night, semi-formal wear. :)
