California Adventures Only? Skip Disneyland?

Due to the high one day ticket price, I am seriously considering skipping Disneyland.

We have been to WDW many times, most recently around Memorial Day weekend.

We have WDW hopper tickets and are used to do multiple parks in a day.

However, the park hopper ticket for Disneyland plus the $10 fast pass fee give me a pause. We only have this upcoming Monday to go. Should I skip Disneyland or are there rides that are must dos for us? We were at Disneyland 2 or 3 years ago and did both parks.

Thanks!!

I think the hopper fee is a lot cheaper then having to return later. Paying the extra hundred dollars or so will keep you satisfied for a few more years, especially if you are also going to WDW.
DL is open from 8-12. If you feel like you are capable of a long park day then with max pass you could stacking FPs all day and into the night and I personally think get your money’s worth.
I would also prepurchase MaxPass if you can depending on how your buying your tickets so you aren’t fussing with it in the AM.
PTN is worth it, Fantasmic is running twice, I would try to work to do both.
I’d arrive EARLY to ensure no delays with bag security, but yeah if your little one is a trooper, honestly I’d go for it!

Got it, I will buy the park hopper and get up early to be there. Do they charge parking also? Any dvc discount? Thanks so much!

I agree with this. It sucks, but I would just bite the bullet and get the PH. I believe parking is $20?

I LOVE RSR, but if I could do only one park it is Disneyland. Same for WDW, choice would be Magic Kingdom. DL has more must do things for me. I like DCA but I cannot imagine spending a whole day there, DL I could do a whole day.

Parking is $20, but that comes with in-and-out privileges all day. If you don't want to park, you could use Uber/Lyft/taxi from your hotel. Have them drop you at either the Harbor drop off or DTD. I agree that going with the park hoppers is a good investment.
