1. There were some recent posts about California residents not being able to buy BCV yet, but that you could still buy points at VWL.
2. I just thought I would provide this update. There were 119 points left for the March use year at VWL this past Monday. I bought 60 of them as an add-on leaving 79 left. It appears that other use years are either sold out or have very little left.
3. I hated paying $80 a point, but have been watching the resales for a couple of months and there have been very few VWL small point contracts. At least I was able to get the same use year and got the points before the price increase.
4. So, we ended up closing on a small point resale and buying add-on at Disney within the same week. If anyone is interested our experience with the Timeshare Store was outstanding. Closed on the 5th and letter said to wait 4 to 6 weeks for document processing before calling for reservations. However, I called DVC on Monday the 11th to ask a question and she said "oh I see your a member". Gave me our member number and verified that the banked points were there for us. Going on first DVC trip this June.
