Calif 7 day - Cat1,Cat2,Cat3 all on waitlist

After a 40 minute hold I got us put on the waitlist for Cat 3 for the 7 day in May 28.

All Cat1-Cat3 are on waitlist as they want clear VIPs first. That means Castaway club members, and others. But he thinks it likely that it will clear if you tell them a couple dates that work (they put second date in comment field)

I asked what the best month to go for is and CM told me that July will be most crowded as its the 50th anniversay at Disneyland that month.

All kinds of special events are going to make it very crowded getting into park or the ship. But it could be worth it if you get in.

Sounds fun. But I am actually concerned about the heat in LA & Mexico. Its going to hot hot hot in July and my GF, GM & DS5 will melt.

So I am going on early side. Hoping for 80s rather than 90's.

I am calling back now to make a confirmed reservation JIC I don't clear the CAT3 hurdle.

Yes it will be hot - but it is a dry heat in So. CA....

But not in Mexico!

My TA told me the same thing about the wait list. Had him book what he could. Proably a 5 or a six. I wouldn't worry about the heat. The coast stays pretty cool even in the summer and you won't have the humidity that you get in Florida.
