...will we be able to stay for fireworks? We booked Cali Grill on Nov 28th for our first night at WDW. Staying at Contemporary, so MK is only a walk away but would like to know if we can hang out to catch the fireworks on the balcony. Thanks!!

And should you finish dinner well before fireworks time and wish to leave, you may return to the California Grill with your receipt from earlier in the evening and will be escorted right back up to the balcony to enjoy the show.

We do this, take a walk around the grounds or have after-dinner drinks at the bar and then return up to the balcony for fireworks viewing later.
