Advice needed...On my last trip we were able to enjoy dinner at California Grill during the fireworks and it was amazing. During the first week of December we'll be back at Disney, this time with my parents who will be celebrating their 40th anniversary. I wanted to give them a similar experience, but there are Christmas parties several nights of our trip (which we're not attending). Is it better to attempt to book dinner for the night of a party and come back up to view fireworks (as I think they're much later - anyone know when?) Or, would it be better to try to book dinner for a night without the party?

I dont think it makes a difference other than timing. IIRC, Party night fireworks have been 10PM, later than the regular HEA show. WE booked CG for the fireworks, but ended up heading back to the resort after the meal becuase we all were pretty tired. In retrospect I wish I had booked our meal for a non party night becuase that hour made a difference to us.
