Cali Grill Dining Fireworks Timing Question

Because the closer you are to the building, the more of the other observation deck & guests you will have in your view. Here is a sample (photo from Mealtrip) where they are standing closer to building. Even on the other, restaurant, deck I try to go to the end especially if party fireworks because they are more expansive.

Plus of private deck is MUCH less people jockeying for a spot.

This photo (photo from EasyWDW) shot at end of private deck and you can see restaurant deck to left.

There are two decks to the south but rarely anyone goes out there. One has almost no view.

Haven't looked over the dinner menu does it include alcohol?

That still doesn't explain why the private party deck would have a better view. In fact, it would seem that if you're on the private party deck, unless you were able to be on the end, you would have the restaurant deck and patrons in the way of your view.

Also, can you still hear the music well all the way throughout the deck with speakers placed throughout?

Btw, I looked at the menu but it doesn't reference beverages, so I'm going to assume that, no, it does not, but if it does, probably very limited, which for us, doesn't matter since we don't drink or eat much anyway. We're already going to be well fed from all the other full service restaurants we booked, anyway. This will be our "farewell" dinner as it will be our last dinner there at WDW.

Where did you see wine was included? I'd love it if that was true, but a 3 course meal AND wine for $89 doesn't seem like something Disney would offer.

Quote off page below, and it probably is just offering you to buy it extra although it is very unclear. To me, I wouldn't have written anything about drinks on the page - obviously people could order and pay for drinks so not sure why they made a point of including it.

I didn't say the private party deck was better, I don't think it is which is why I said I'd move to the end. What it will be is a lot less people trying to get a good view. I've been on the restaurant deck when it is solid with people and unless you are on the rail you are looking over others.

I may have been wrong on the wine (which I was surprised to read that with the price) but the wording is iffy .... likely you have to pay.

"To complement their entrées, Guests 21 years of age and older can select from an extensive selection of hand-picked wines—most of which are from California. Sommeliers are on hand to offer pairing suggestions, as well as a guided 3-course wine pairing."

NOTE: Rose & Crown dinner with great Harmonious views is also $89 and includes 3 courses, beer, wine and likely a wine spritzer drink as before BUT has minimal number of tables so they wouldn't being pouring as much.

didn't say the view was better. It is pretty much equal, unless you have an issue with seeing the other deck, especially if you walk down to the end. the people are not in the way for the show since you can see the castle over them, but go down to the end and you won't have to look over them. Also there will be far fewer people on the private room deck which is pretty much guaranteed a spot to stand at the railing, and no claustrophobic crowd. It sounds like you'd prefer the full meal anyway, maybe you can get one if someone cancels.

I think it won't end up including the wine though.

Why would the deck shown on the left provide a better view at the end
I've watched fireworks from both decks and agree the view is better on the left. I think it has to do with the angle. while not a huge difference, the left gives a little less angled view of the fireworks, so they don't look quite as distorted as they do on the right. Remember, they fireworks are designed to be best viewed from straight ahead of the castle.
That said, both decks are good. have not been on the 3rd deck.

I have a 8:35pm dinner reservation on 10/19. Will I be allowed up early to see the fireworks?
