Calendars-Large quantity

Has anyone here printed large quantity of calendars, such as one to several thousand, I'm looking for a good printer to do such a thing and was hoping for some good leads from the experts here..

I have had Staples print my yearly calendar for years and have been extremely happy with them. The 12-month/12-photo calendar is $9.99 and very easily to upload online. I do think they oversaturate a little bit, so I under-saturate to compensate and it seems to balance out well. The most I ever printed at one time was 6. They usually need a day to complete the job.

Have you considered contacting a local print shop? For quantities that large (500+), my experience has been that you'll get better options there.

Another consideration is Marathon Press. I used them for a bunch of print press stuff this past year and LOVE them. But I'm not sure about pricing for calendars - but worth a look.

What type of calendar? A 12 paged, 12 month, 12 photo? Or a one page, one photo, 12 month? For the later, I like Mpix. Costco does a very good job for both types. Are you looking for a volume discount, or volume quality?

just had this one dumped on me yesterday at work, I need to come up with the 12 photos, design the layout and get a price...

We buy a few thousand every year. No picture though and they stick to the dashboard of your car - or wall - or locker.

I have used Qoop.com to get some calendars for my coworkers at auction for Christmas presents. I take my camera with me to auction every week and take picture throughout the year and put together a calendar with pics of everyone and some of the more interesting items we get in to sell and pretty much anything around the auction house. I went with qoop because you can put multiple pictures on one month, they give a quantity discount and the quality was great. Their prices are more than others but I will pay a little more for the quality. I only ordered 15 I think and they were around $12.50 each if I remember right.
