Hi - what do you think about this - we have a 7:50 reservation on a night where Wishes is at 8:30. I will ask for a window seat (but then again so will everyone else). If we go out to the observation deck - how's the view and is there music there? Plus, how's our timing?

Also, is it hard to get a window table - we are 3.

Thanks for your help. My mom is really looking forward to this.

We went to the California Grill a week or so ago, and I don't think that's enough time. I would try for a PS between 6:30-7pm to be able to ensure a window seat. And show up about an hour early.

We had a PS 20 minutes before the fireworks, but I believe they gave us a window seat since we were celebrating.

All that said, you can always stand up from your table to watch, or walk out on the observation deck. I don't know about the music out there, though.

We eaten at CG several times and have never gotten a window seat, however, we have watched the fireworks every single time from the observation deck and the pipe in the music, soundtrack, from MK. It's the same soundtrack the people in the park are listening to. It's wonderful! I don't know if they pipe the soundtrack into the resturant though, if you do get lucky and get a window seat.

Our last two visits we were able to snag a window seat and we are a party of 2. Each time we had our ps's aroung 45 minutes before. It was just luck I think because we didn't even ask for a window seat.:D

thanks for the input & glad to hear about the music - Does the observation deck get very crowded? I didn't want to go too early as MK closes early (8:30) and we are going to be heading over around 3 or so from WL.

No--it dosen't get crowded. In fact, there are 2 observation decks. The main one on the right hand side of the restarant. and another, just off the "wine room".
I wasn't aware of the second one until our last meal at CG, when we just happened to have a table right near that door--.
