i was wondering, what cake flavor did everyone choose? i love vanilla and chocolate so i'm going with marble, but the filling, i'm having trouble deciding! i love raspberry, has anyone had that? please tell what your cake flavor was!!!

We had three different layers: bottom layer was almond cake with bailey's irish creme filling, marble cake with white chocolate mousse filling and fresh strawberries, carrot cake with cream cheese filling. Our guest raved over all of them.
Everyone I tried was unbelievable and I don't think you will go wrong with any of them.
I would get what you like.

For our wedding in March we are doing the yello cake filing and the white chocolate mousse with fresh strawberries. I tasted it (along with a few other flavors) with my parnets in July at my planning session and we all fell in love with it!!!!!

For the bottom layer we had the strawberry mousse filling and it was WONDERFUL! The top layer we had the white chocolate mousse filling. I'm not really sure how that tasted because we didn't try the top layer till after we got back to our hotel room the next day, and by that time it was pretty smooshy and had not been refridgerated. I did not think it tasted all that good then, but had I tasted it while it was still fresh it may have been better!

We had marble cake w/ choc mouse filling for the wedding cake and the next day for my birthday we had choc cake w/ rasp filling both were wonderful!

We had a layer of white cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries - it was heaven! The other layer was chocolate with chocolate mousse and raspberries, I never got to try it but I'm sure it was wonderful too. We did buttercream icing, it was light and very good. Neither DH or I are big on sugary icing and both loved this.
