Cake Table

Opinions requested. I am trying to decide what decorations to have for my cake table at our intimate reception. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated ! Pictures too...

I'm not sure how formal your wedidng is but what about sprinking rose petals on the table? Or making small bouquets of 3 flowers (like daisy's) and lying them in the table in a couple different places? Or small votive candles? HTH.

My table had an ivory velvet table cloth that shimmered with the lights on, with votive candles and yellow orange and red rose petals sprinkled on around. (everything was fall themed and gold accents)

Thanks ! Keep them coming. I had already sent an email to Rosie to inquire about the petals...we are using burnished tones (deep orange, rust, burgandy, yellow...etc..)too. I just didn't know if I needed more than the petals or not. I am trying to keep things simple.

I just remembered there was other things on my cake table. Over the velvet was gold chiffon that was puffed and then the candles and petals were put on

I think that many people put the bridesmaid's bouquets on the cake table for decoration.
This was mine. We had a fall leaf garland that was supposed to wrap around the edge of the table, but we ended up placing it around the floor of the table because it was so heavy.

Actually didnt care for our cake table...looked like they just threw a bunch of stuff on it (all the bridesmaids flowers, and the alter arrangement)... that and my planner forgot our cake stand so they just had our cake on aluminum foil ...Oh well...

I LOVE your flowers what kind of rose are they? Sorry I know thats not about the cake table!

Not a problem, they are bluebird roses...
I love sterling roses but they photograph more gray and i wanted a bit more color...
