Cake Serving Set Question

Hi!
In the planning kit it states under Cake Knife and Server section the option to borrow the facility's set.
Has anyone done this before and if so is there a rental fee?

Our planning session isn't until April and I'm just trying to figure if we should get our own or just borrow. Any help would be great ~ Thanks!

I am interested in this as well. I kinda would like something--I don't want to bring a serving set from NJ down (but will if I have to).

In my BEO the cake knife and server is $50. Umm I am not sure how much it is to rent,I just wanted to buy it.I think it is so pretty and a nice keepsake.

If you can just see if you can buy it.

Not sure about the cake knife and server set, but my florist told me I could "borrow" a unity candle and tapers stand. To "borrow" the set was $10. I would guess that they will charge you a small fee for the cake knife and server too. Hopefully, I am wrong.

my contract says we do not need to bring a cake server set - they will provide at no charge. I was surpised, but that's what it says.

Yes - there is no fee for using the cake server, champagne flutes, etc. provided by the reception site. The $50 is if you want to buy the keepsake set they sell at Franck's and through Disney Floral. We're using the venue's server and our knife - no charge!
