Cake Serving Set Help

Hi fellow Dis-brides

I stole this picture from someones planning Journal. I love this cake set but I am unsure where or how to go about getting it. I sent the picture in to my wedding planner at Disneyland and she said that she thinks it was a promotional deal if you signed up with disney for a disney visa.

I was wondering, how do I go about getting this cake serving set? Is it still available??

I am almost positive people got them through Disney floral at Disneyworld. I know some have gotten them on ebay too.

There you will see their telephone number. Tell them you want the DFTW cake server and knife and they will gladly get ship it to you!

Thanks girls so much!! Sometimes I wish I would have gone with a WDW wedding, since it seems they have things a little more put together.

Aw... those are really pretty! I'd buy them for sure if I hadn't already been given a different set as a gift!

I ordered that set for my Disneyland wedding from Disney Floral in WDW. They are very helpful, and will send you pics of stuff. My planner was the one who told me that I could order the stuff from Disney Floral.

Anyway, that set is $50 plus shipping. My recommendation is after your wedding, put it in your utensil drawer and use it whenever you serve dessert! lol

I have the same set. Mine was free when I got DF to sign up for a Disney Visa. I made him sign up just so I could get that, but now I've got him using it instead of his check card so we can get more points for our trips! If you don't already have a Disney Visa, you could see if they're still offering that set for free...

Thanks everyone for your great information. I already have a Disney Visa so that doesn't work for me. I called Disney Florist and ordered it today!!! The guy said it would be at my house in about 4-5 buisness days. So I will definitly be watching the mail Thursday and Friday!!!

Are you suppose to order the set from Disney Floral and then bring it with you to your DFTW? Or can you order it and it'll be ready and waiting for you at your reception? Also, can you have your names and date engraved on it?

I think you would have to do your own engraving. You'd probably want to bring it yourself to make sure you have it...?

Check Ebay too. We got ours fro $35 instead of $50 and that included shipping It was in perfect shape and had never been used

I think they could deliver it to the location for you and then you could have it engraved after the wedding if you wanted to. I know a few people that did their engraving later, so it wouldnt' be weird.

If it were me, I'd want to have it in advance so I knew I was in charge of it, but if it's one less thing you want to bring with you and to worry about, I'm sure they'd do it that way. They gave me that option with my cake topper too.

I like the DFTW server set, but the other day I saw a Mickey & Minnie server set on disneyshopping.com that was so cute and it was $8.99!! I definitely recommend getting it there if you don't want to spend $50 on the DFTW set.

Just wanted to let everyone know I recieved my order today of my cake serving set. They were so nice at Disney Florist and very very fast shipping.

cool deal! now make sure you put it in a safe place that you will remember. I panicked a couple days before my wedding b/c I couldn't find my set! I called disney floral and had them overnight me another set. It didn't come (they forgot to send it) and I was frenzied. I had them overnight it to the Grand Californian b/c we were staying the night before the wedding, too. Wouldn't you know, my MOM had it the whole time because she put flowers and ribbons on the handles! Yup, I completely forgot that she was doing that!

OMG I LOVE it... I have been wanting to get it... I am going to call them tomorrow
