Cake Question

Hi guys!
I'm full of questions lately
Ok, so Brian and I have got our dinner choices limited to three restaurants now. (making progress) Raglan Road, California Grill, and O'hana. Our plans are to get married and the Swan at 6:30 and after we will all go to a nice restaurant. We are leaning more towards Raglan Road, but we are still working out the details.
My question is this. We are definately getting a two tiered cake. We thought it would make more sense to have the cake after dinner, as opposed to right after the wedding. But will these restaurants allow a wedding cake to be delivered there after dinner? If so, do you have any ideas as to where we would order a cake from that makes sense? Obviously if we do Raglan Road, we'd want to order one in Downtown Disney if possible, but I'm not very familiar with the bakeries. If we do California Grill, they may have some sort of cake they can do.
We don't want to rent out any rooms and have a reception. We just wanted all of our guests to have a nice dinner and incorporate the cake into it.

There are no bakeries at Downtown Disney, and the Polynesian's bakery can do only basic birthday-style cakes with no fancy decorations. Your best bet is California Grill, which has an excellent pastry chef who's been turning out cakes just as elaborate and well made as the Grand Floridian's. If you have a design in mind, the sky is pretty much the limit.

If you had your heart set on Ohana, you might be able to get the Contemporary Bakery to deliver a cake there, but they won't deliver to Downtown Disney. If your heart's set on Raglan Road, you might want to investigate local wedding cake bakers who could deliver, since the restaurant itself doesn't have a bakery. Raglan Road doesn't have a cake-cutting fee, which is nice, but they may have restrictions on storing an outside cake in their fridge for you.

I had a cake delivered to Ohana's for my rehearsal dinner. I originally asked disney to make it for me but they couldn't since they were busy with other wedding cakes. I then contacted Karen from cupcake crazy http://www.cupcakecrazyorlando.com/

and she not only delivered an awesome tasting cake but it was exactly what I wanted. Ohana's was wonderful about holding the cake when it got delivered, (I didn't need to be present)... when I checked in with the host I told her I had a cake delivered and they made sure it was taken out right right in time.

You could always contact Disney to make you a cake but after this experience going with an outside baker if you are having it at a resturant is the way to go...
