I know there are some super knowledgable Disers out there regarding Disney cakes. From what I can tell looking at the pictures you can't get a Winnie the Pooh cake, but I was wondering if it might be possible to get a Darby cake since she isn't an A.A. Milne character. Both of my girls love My Friends Tigger and Pooh.

Trying to think of a fun 1st birthday cake for our little one..

I think your best bet here is calling them and see what they can do.

If they can't do actual Pooh characters, there are secondary themes you can request that would have a Pooh feeling. Cakes are my hobby...when I made DD2's Pooh themed first bday cake- the top of her cake was a fondant and gum paste "hunny" pot with little bees and I had red fondant balloons with black decorator icing strings kind of like the red balloon Christopher Robin gives Pooh. Rabbit's garden also comes to mind.

Another idea is having them handpaint a white fondant cake with food coloring to have it look like the water color backgrounds in the books (i.e. kind of like the book pages you see in the Pooh ride queue) and you could bring a Pooh topper from home. There are traditional plastic toppers, but you may also be able to find Pooh charachter colored chocolate lollipops that you can stick into the top of the cake with the lollipop sticks.
