Cake ideas?

DD is birthday is rapidly approaching, and yet again somehow she is having a party, well family and friends.

I normally buy a cake from Costco, but this year I decided not to renew membership, as only got it for cakes.

So ad a look at asda cakes and nothing stood out. So I may try poison the guest by cooking myself does anyone have any ideas or tips.

She is Harry potter mad but also going through the tweeny stage. (difficult stage not quite a teenager but not a kid as well)

I'm sure I was much easier

There are three pages of HP cake toppers including edible cupcake toppers or cupcake rings if cupcakes would be easier to make.

I got a giant cup cake mould which I always find useful for birthdays...everyone loves (a giant) cupcake!
