I know other places do this, but I was wondering about Disney. Do they make sheet cakes to cut in the back and pass out to guests and make some fake cake layers, or do they just cut the whole cake and take it in the back?

I just asked my coordinator abuot fake cakes on monday actually. She said they can do fake cakes (i'm assuming they can do partial fake cakes as well) and do sheet cakes in the back. She did not give prices or anything and said to talk to my planner down the road about it. Hoepfully it will save some money :)

thats what I am hoping too! If you wouldnt mind letting me know, i would really appreciate that!

Yes - please do keep us updated. I had not heard this was an option for a DFTW. Considering that they charge double the national average cost per slice for wedding cakes, this would be a great to do!
