If you have an Escape wedding at the Yacht Club Wedding Gazebo, where exactly do they set up the cake ceremony? Does anyone have any photos?

If you want to move your cake to a different location what is the procedure? Can you have your cake cutting aboard the Grand 1?

Thanks in advance :yay:

I believe that your cake cutting is done right there after your ceremony.

If you're having a reception after your escape ceremony you can ask to nothave the cake cutting and instead have the cake delivered to your reception location. You can ask your planner about this.

It looks similar to the set up at the other escape weddings, I have never seen many photos though as the gazebo does not seem as popular with the disbrides!

I don't have any good wide shots that show exactly where it is, but here's this one:

There are also some pix in this trip report:

And DISer Swmhc had an Escape ceremony at the Yacht Club Gazebo - hopefully she'll be along soon to post pix. :thumbsup2

I loved the gazebo. I will post some photos when I get home and have access to them!

If you look to the far right of the photo you can see the edge of the cake table as to where it is located from the ceremony site.

And here is more of a close up with the backdrop.

That is exactly what we wanted to see, thanks very much, it looks great! :thumbsup2

I know that you have already seen other pictures but here's another angle. We did not have any guests at our wedding (just DH and me) so they had set up a little table for us to sit at to eat cake and have champagne. It was actually one of my favorite parts of the day  It was fun sitting there and having cake at 10:30 in the morning... Anyways, the table with the cake was to the right of the round table...

here's another just showing the setup. I don't know where the 2 chairs came from as they were not there when I walked down the "aisle"... :confused3 but at least the duck looks like he's having fun!
