Its been discussed here many times but of course I can't find it when I need it LOL Anyone know what it is, the recipe that uses a cake mix, and a couple other things? TIA.

If you go to the cooking forum....which I think is under the creative community forums, I believe there is a sticky there for several cake batter recipes.

WOW, that is some thread! I don't see a basic recipie though, just with the cake mix and cooking oil maybe? Or an egg or two? Don't have time to read everything -- anyone know please?
Found it, FWIW -
1 pkg dry cake mix (any flavor, any brand!)
2 eggs
1/2 cup of oil (or melted butter or margarine for more buttery flavor)

Found this one:

CAKE MIX COOKIES

1 package of cake mix (any flavor)
1 large egg
1/4 cup of oil
1/4 cup of water
1 cup of chopped nuts, raisins, oatmeal, coconut, chocolate chips, M&M'S® etc. (anything you like in cookies)

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine cake mix, egg, oil, and water. Beat until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredient (s).

Drop by teaspoon about 1 inch apart onto greased cooke sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes or until done.

Makes about 4 dozen.

We use 1 box cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/3 cup oil. Add chips to liking! My favorite is chocolate cake with chocolate chunks! :thumbsup2

that's the receipe i use. The cookie "dough" should be rolled up into balls about 1 inch around or so and placed on a cookie sheet. then GENTLY flatten the balls but not completely flat just squished. I use the bottom of a drinking glass that I first dip into hot cocoa mix (if I am making chocolate cookie) or plain flour or even sugar (if I am doing vanilla/yellow cookies). slightly dampen the bottom of the glass before dipping into the hot cocoa mix/flour etc. . Flattening them out a little helps them spread out better and dipping the glass into the hot cocoa mix etc helps prevent the glass from sticking to the dough.

**bake the cookies for 5-8 minutes at 375 degrees. Any brand of cake mix works and you can do it plain or add chips, nuts ,sprinkles etc.

Here's mine for Peanut Butter-Choc Chip Cookies:

Beat: 2 eggs
1/3 C water
1/4 C soft butter
1 C Peanut Butter
1/2 Dry cake mix (I usually use yellow of some sort)

Add: 1/2 Dry cake mix
12 oz. Chocolate Chips

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

These are SO GOOD!!!
