I just received a call from Disneyland Dining informing me that they could not honor my Priority Seating at Cafe Orleans for breakfast on September 19th as they will not be serving breakfast there after September 1st!
Unfortunately, I did not think to ask when they would be open again for breakfast.
I was really looking forward to the three cheese monte cristo french toast.:sad1:

Say it isnt so!!! We always go there for breakfast as a tradition. But never went in Oct. Hopefully it will be avail in Oct... My DH loves thier eggs benedict!

what a bummer!! i booked my breakfasts with GK and Carnation Cafe, i hope they don't cancel breakfasts, too.

I think Cafe Orleans is only open for breakfast during the busier times of year (like from March-Labor Day), and closed for breakfast in the "slower" season. I'd be very surprised if Carnation Cafe closes for breakfast - and I think the food there is better anyway! And I'm not sure they really need Cafe Orleans open for breakfast - River Belle Terrace is quite close, and I think they have a better breakfast selection than Cafe Orleans, too.

I am pretty sure that the reason Cafe Orleans is closing for breakfast in the September is that there are the other options and with the park opening at 10:00 am 4 days a week, maybe it is just not worth it to have that large of a restaurant with all those servers if they don't get the business.
I have reservations at Carnation Cafe and they didn't call about them so I am sure that things won't change there or at Goofy's Kitchen.
ScooterL, I have not heard good things about Riverbell Terrace since they did they refurb so I have not considered this an option.
The location looks nice but I have heard that the quality of food is not up to par?
Have you eaten there lately?

I am not a big fan of the lunch/dinner menu at Riverbelle Terrace, but their breakfasts are very good!! Especially the Mickey Mouse pancake!!!::MickeyMo
The rest of my family like their lunch/dinner menu, just nothing that was really my style, and that we before the refurb.

I had breakfast at River Belle back in May - I had the Mickey pancake, which was REALLY good - and I'm not really into pancakes at all. The potatoes were good, too. My husband had the scrambled egg breakfast and it was fine - it's hard for scrambled eggs to be really good, but they can be bad - runny and yucky. I was quite pleasantly surprised with the experience, and thought it was a pretty good value for the money - and that's not easy to find at Disney.
