My DD13 orders off kids menus regularly, they do NOT charge her adult prices when she does. We tell them there is "nothing on the adult menu she wants and she'd like to order off the kids menu" or we say nothing and she simply orders, it's never been a problem. At Cafe Orleans our server said "it's never a problem for her to do that, but just so you know if she's really hungry we can double the portion and the price for her so she gets more food" to which I happily replied "she's tiny, she will barely eat the kids meal, but that's good to know. Would I be able to do that?" to which she happily replied "of course, ANYone can order from the kids menu and if it's not enough older kids or adults can double the food for double the price". The only time we pay more is when we do a character meal, then the price is set for her age group. DD just turned 13 (need to update her age in my siggie) and she's tiny, very skinny little thing.
