Hi All,

So the countdown has begun :) first trip coming up in just over 2 weeks.

We've finally decided on a character dining at cafe mickey, however looking at the menu it seems there aren't any veg options for the children.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks all. x

I noticed that in June when we dinned there, we ate in Bistrot Chez Rémy the day before and I noticed that they did. If it's an issue, I'm sure they will serve a smaller version of one of the adult veg options.

yeah, that's what I was planning to do. Considering they mention they will go out of their way to accommodate as many dietary requests as they reasonably can. I'm a small version of pasta would be do-able. (read...i'm hoping....)

thanks for the reply Jonjo

seems to be plenty of veg options throughout the parks. so hoping to create our dining itinerary soon, if anyone can share any relatively recent tips would be much appreciated.

alot of the veggie-blogs about dlp dining are a few years old and since then things have changed.

Hey, I've been to DLP as a veggie plenty times. The vegetable main course at Blue Lagoon is my favourite and I also love the veggie burgers at Annette's (hashbrown sticks too!) you'll find plenty to eat at the buffets, and also there's pasta throughout the parks and veggie Mexican snacks such as taquitos and rice opposite BTM.

Agrabah cafe also has plenty of hummus and couscous if you want a change from chips and pasta!

I'm going for my first trip as a vegan in October and mostly places seem to have an adaptable vegetarian dish, so if you eat cheese and don't mind overloading on carbs they'll be plenty for you.

Excellent. Adding these onto the list then.

DH was really insistent on having everything sorted and booked before go. So we've booked the standard half board plan. Am i right in assuming we can eat anywhere using these vouchers...either if they accept the standard vouchers or if they don't then at face value?

If they don't accept the vouchers you can use them at face value. We had a lovely meal at the California Grill in June. We did not fancy anything off the menu so the waiter went and got one of the chiefs and he stat at our tabl for 10 mins asking what we liked and did not like and created a wonderful meal for us.
