As most of you know im off on a day trip next wednesday.

Im debating on booking Cafe Mickey for about 5pm as it will give Kyra a meet with the characters and so we dont have to spend the few hours we have there looking for characters, i know she will be upset if we dont get to see any.
Our train is at 7.37pm and we have to check in 30-45mins before departure, do you think if we went Cafe Mickey this will allow enought time there, or do you think its not worth eating there and to just make most of park time.

Really i have so many ideas im toying with on this day trip its going to be impossible to fit everything in already, so im open for options as whatever we dont do next we can do when we go in September.

The only thing i have planned to do is Animagic is for 3pm then OUAD parade at 4pm.:goodvibes

Plus any advice on going Christmas Eve- Boxing Day would be appreciated as im toying with booking this for next year lol.
Maybe i should just move to France as it could be cheaper than all these trips im planning :rotfl: :rotfl:

This is what my husband thinks we should do especially since his company has an office in Paris:thumbsup2 ... It's getting expensive to travel from London:rotfl2:

Anyway... Cafe Mickey... Hmmm, time may be a bit tight since you'll go to watch the parade at 4pm. If I were you, I wouldn't go to Cafe Mickey unless it's pouring with rain. I believe you can book 5pm and not go if you don't feel like it. And you'll be going back in Sept, perfect excuse to go to CM.

I know your DD may be disappointed but she'll be over the moon to just be there...

Just my honest opinion... Sorry if it isn't what you wanted to hear:hug:

Id be tempted to give it a miss as well. Just think how upset Kyra may be if you have to rush her to get out to catch your train especially if Mickey is in the room at the time.

Yes i think you're right.
I did ask her what she perferred to do and she said rides :rotfl: ...I just hope we can catch Mickey in WDS at his meeting spot instead.

I think i may book Cafe Mickey just incase the weather does turn sour and we dont want to hang around in the rain.

I just dont want her to come away dissapointed, but i have decided that in Sept we will be going CM for her 4 week early Birthday dinner. We was watching some videos from it on Youtube earlier and she was getting all excited, maybe thats why i had a crazy idea to go there next week :rotfl:

I think it would be too much of a rush. Also I don't think the characters start until 6.00 or 6.30 pm.

Just an idea, but if you were prepared to take an hour out of the park anyway how about doing the Lucky Nugget at lunch? We were there longer, but lots of people left after an hour.

I was thinking of Lucky Nugget as i perferred the food plus Kyra went for free but i found the atmosphere a bit bland compared to Cafe Mickey.

I am sure you will get to see Mickey at the Studios - there is the Plaza Gardens Tea Party which is a much cheaper option. I am sure the times are 3pm and 4 or 4.30pm - here is some details

Every day in the lush parkland on the edge of Main Street USA, the stately Plaza Gardens Restaurant hosts a delicious buffet Tea Party with Disney Characters. Tasty pastries, scrumptious cookies, muffins, brownies and more. You'd be madder than the Mad Hatter to miss an opportunity like this!
In Disneyland Park

At Plaza Gardens Restaurant, Main Street USA. A selection of cakes, pastries, chocolate mousse, sweets and a hot and cold drink.

* Every Day (time confirmed upon booking/hotel arrival)

Booking

* Per person (under 3yrs) £9 / €13

Book your date and time by calling the Restaurant Reservations hotline in advance.

This is not such a long process as you are just snacking while meetinf the characters - you could do this in 30 -45 minutes

Hmmm that sounds good for the price, plus Kyra would eat for free but it would mean missing the parade or not seeing Animagic which is the 2 things we both really want to see...(well I want to see :rotfl: )

I think im going to have to leave the character meals for our trip in September and just hope I bump into plenty of characters on Wednesday.

Does anyone know what time Winnie the Pooh finishes his meets as it doesnt mention him on next weeks schedule?

Where have you found next weeks schedule? I can only find up to 2nd March

Oh my friend who works there sent me a copy but ssshhh as he said it was illegal to do so :rotfl: Not sure if its the finished version though, he says its subject to change but os pretty much the same as this weeks schedule.

Is there anything you wanted to know cus i can have a look for you tomorrow when im back home, im at my mums at the moment so cant check right now.

Thanks. Im waiting for the schedule to come out for later in March as we go on 18th and wanted to check parade/candlebration times etc.
I'll wait as its bound to be out in next few days

Thanks anyhow
