Cafe Mickey - Lunch or Dinner time?

DW and I have not been to Cafe Mickey for quite a few years and were thinking of having a meal there during our next trip in January. I have already booked a table for 8pm for dinner on the Monday evening. The park closes at 7pm that night.

Is this a good time to go or would people recomend a lunch time visit? Last time we eat there was in 2005 and we went for lunch and the resturant was empty.

We has dinner around 6.30 one night during our trip in October and it was completely full but we still really enjoyed it and would go back again at this time. I have no experience of lunch time tho!

We went for lunch there in May and it wasn't too busy - we got lots of attention from the characters and the service was good.

Personally we've always found the place much more atmospheric in the evenings, so if you have a choice go for the evening imo.
