We arrive late on Monday 18th and we are going to BBWWS on the tues which leaves weds, thurs lunch or tea time and Friday lunch. We haven't booked and I'm still reluctant to set a day and time, do you think we would be ok to book once we arrive seeing we could do either day? Our could we end up missing out if we don't?

I would book. It gets very busy. But on the other hand if you're looking at lunch and not dinner it might be not that busy.
I like planing so I book in advance.

I would leave it until you get there as you are going off peak

for lunch, I think you'll be okay deciding a couple of days in advance, when you are at DLP.

If you think you might want tea at Cafe Mickey, personally I'd book now. You can always cancel your booking while you are there, at City Hall, if you change your mind.

Are they really busy? I thought it would be quiet with there being no school holidays?

That week should be calm :confused3 It's the last week of March that goes upto the Easter weekend that is fully booked

Most hotels are booked up for the time I'm there - from the 20th. There was a post on here regarding it the other day.

After reading this I understand it's going to be very very busy when we're there from 19th....

We went the same week last year and the hotels were fully booked but it was quiet. They run a reduced capacity in low season!

Hoping its the case this year too, though quite annoying that I wanted to add an extra night but no space apparently, so we've ended up booking a budget room to extend the break!

Really hope this is the case, I purposely booked this week thinking it would be quiet, fingers crossed!

Oh, that is annoying! Hope you have a lovely trip :)

Just a quick note from me, if you're free 15 minutes before your booked time go anyway.. it takes them about 5-15 minutes for them to get you seated anyway. :)
