Cabins

We are planning to stay in November 2022 at a cabin. What loop should we request to be closest to the restaurant?

Most of the cabins are away from the restaurant and the dock area. With that said , I think loop 100 has 2 cabins. You could try to request one of those. Ya never know. Otherwisr there is an internal bus system that will come quickly and drop you off near trails end, the boat dock and depending on the day and if they still have them, the food trucks.

As mentioned above , cabins are close to check in ,not back of camp ground.
Loop 100 is an "special' area. Mainly used for VIP's

I always thought that also, for vips, might still be but last trip was a bunch of collage kids there for a few nights. They dumped a trailer outside, and unpacked from that. Not an enclosed one eaither, like a landscaping trailer, lol. Still could be vips. I am judgeing by the looks of what they towed down, it just looked a bit out of sorts to me. Never saw luggage, and stuff on an open trailer parked outside a cabin.

I had heard the two cabins in 100 were no longer VIP-only.

Given their location, however, they are often requested but rarely available for requests. So I would not consider them a possibility.

The cabin loops are 2200-2800 near the bottom of the map below and the "restaurant" (whether it be Trails End or P&J's Southern Takeout are up at the top of the map near Bay Lake at location "N".



However the cabins have good internal bus transportation because two out of the three internal bus lines (Purple and Orange) drive along Peacock Pass (the cabin loops) and run down to the Settlement Bus Depot near the lake ("O" on the map above). Yellow is the only bus line internally not passing through the cabin loops.

To add, its still a long ,long walk from there, so the busses will be key. There is a quiet pool by the cabin loops thats close. Not what you asked, but its a plus somethimes.

I've always wanted to stay in one of the two loop 100 cabins....

Our DD stayed in 2200 and both 2200 and 2300 share a bus stop right at their entrance - easy peasy.
